Q: Will the current office staff remain in place?
A: Yes.
There will be no changes in our personnel here in Brimfield.
Q: Will the office be closing?
A: No. Our office here in Brimfield will not be closing.
Q: Will there be any disruption in operations?
A: As we work to transition and merge our IT systems, phone service, and related technologies, we will do our best to keep any necessary disruptions to a minimum.
When an insurance company is preparing a policy for a potential customer, it will want to know about the person’s previous driving record, whether they have any recent accidents or tickets, and what type of car is to be insured. Insurance companies have different programs for different customers. Adults with good driving records will generally pay less for auto insurance than will a young driver with traffic tickets. In order to determine which program you qualify for, an insurance company needs basic information about you. In addition to your age, gender and driving experience, information about the vehicle you drive–and how you drive it–helps to determine a fair price.
Q: Will my insurance be impacted?
A: Not at all. No coverage or premium changes will be made to your current policy. If you want to review your current coverage, please call us at 413) 245-6864.
Q: Will I lose access to my current insurance carrier?
A: We do not anticipate that to happen. Since we will gain access to additional insurance carriers, we will offer you even more options and choices to consider.
Q: Will your office hours be the same?
A: Yes. Our office here in Brimfield will maintain its current hours and schedule
Q: Will there be a name change?
A: Yes. As of July 9, 2020, Morin & Foy will be known as First American Insurance Agency. Our office’s branding, website, and the sign will change. Future communications to you will come from us as First American Insurance Agency.
Q: What about COVID? How will that affect the business?
A: We will operate in a manner that ensures our clients’ safety and employees and effectively complies with all Federal, State, and local social distancing and cleaning protocols.
Both of our offices are open to the public BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, and masks are required.
Appointments for the Brimfield office may be scheduled between Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM by calling our office at 413) 245-6864.
Our team is following a rotating schedule of both in-office and remote work.
The Chicopee team is available by phone or email, weekdays between 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. You can call them at 413-592-8118. Appointments for Chicopee office are to be schedule for between 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Q: If the Chicopee office is more convenient for me than Brimfield, can I schedule an appointment at that office instead?
A: Yes, you may. You can call them at 413-592-8118 to schedule directly or, we can coordinate your appointment for you with the team in Chicopee.
We will all do everything possible to make your experience as seamless as possible.
